Apply theater

Apply Theater:

This week our class was attending apply theater for citizens to express they acting skills. Our mainly topic was about every child has hopes. A person named Caitlin who was a part of apply theater told us that are mainly task was to help the family and by figuring out the situation with her acting as the characters in the family. 

The characters were call T, Becca, Maraya, Brian, Dave and Jacks. Brian was the stepdad and Dave was an Dad. T and Becca were siblings and Jack was an friend of T and lastly Maraya was the Mum. The story was about The mum choose Brian after Dave and her keeps having situations together so T was angry and mostly stayed with Dave his real dad. 

Everytime Brian the stepdad keeps trying to connect with T he never would want to. Becca was T step sister and jack keeps supporting T that it is right to shame them. We solved the situation and played different kinds of activities for expressing their emotions and how they really feel.

There were bonus points into, winning the prize and the only way to win the bonus points is by figuring the situation. We won and the bonus prize were badges. We happily accepted the badges and said thank you for their effort in coming for helping us learn.     

Speeches

Malo lelei students and teachers today in our online classes we were given speeches to wrote about rules we can make. Because this opportunity was given to us we thought about why we should change the way of people and rules. Doing this can help people realise what should they do. My opinion or topic was about saving animals and the environment. The reason why I choose this topic is because I want people to realise how important it was to save our planet and animals. Did you know that animals are living things that have experienced how they lost their family? Well it's because some people doesn't care if they litter and probably they haven't noticed why or what will happen. Well the fact is that doing this is the only way to save the animals and  just to let you know that not only animals will die but us people because  throwing away plastic or glass can make injuries and accidents.

The Poem

 Kia ora everyone today in our learning was about figurative language. Figurative language has a part that includes about metaphors, simile, personification, alliteration, hyperbole, Stanza, Mood, Imagery and limericks. But figurative language means not taking things literally for example I wish you luck it means break a leg but not seriously. If your wondering what metaphor, simile, personification and alliteration means well metaphor means describes one thing as if it were something else and to make sure it doesn't includes like or as because that will be called simile. And personification means giving human qualities to something that is not human for example the cars growled in traffic. The last one is called alliteration and it means a term used when a series of words begin with the same consonant sound for example she sells seashells on  by the sea-shore.

 Talofa Lava my name is Deanne I'm half Tongan and Samoan. I love traveling, playing netball and tennis, making new friends, playing rugby and games. I have 6 siblings including myself and my friends are Caroline, Lose, Angel, Hevaha and Maftha. My teacher is Ms Tuakoi and I'm a year 7. I go to Glen Innes school and I really enjoy myself there because how much new knowledge I learnt and new activity's to play.
